2003 Celica 140 What Oil Should Be Using

i recently service the car and when buying servicing material i was given 10w 40 as that what it said in his manual but i keep hearin 5w 30 bein mentioned oil the grades are just temperatures as in work better in cold or hotter climates

Have a look at the Engine Oil topic pinned towards the start of the Celica club - http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/148390-engine-oil/

From that you will see that 5W-30 is the recommended oil. Apart from the viscosity, you also need to look at the oil spec - and you need to be looking for API grade SL or SM.
