Hi folks

I have an Avensis D4D T180. It is a 2007 registered car with 73,000 on the clock. At 68,000 the water pump gave in, and at 73,000 the same happened to the alternator.

I am wondering if others had similar problems?

Yes!

New engine 69,000miles

New alternator 71,000 miles

Now my water pump is weeping quite badly?

According to the tsb for the optifit engine the water pump is brand new though. I'm gonna need to get it checked.
