All the discussion of gutless Corsa's are has brought back many fond memories of my time as a learner (Mainly because I know I'll never have to drive one again :lol:)

Do you lot have any funny stories from your time as an L-plate wielder? Or even some tips for aspiring drivers! :)

I bet the whole thing has changed a lot over the years, esp. the testing!

I learnt to drive in three cars due to the driving school's policy of replacement at a certain age - an Austin 1100, a Mini Clubman and finally a Mini 1000. Other driving schools locally had Mk2 Escorts.
