Exhaust Spitting Up

I turn on the gas and it's spitting out a what-looks-to-be oil/water mix.

Is this common on 4Es? Does this mean the cat is needing to be replaced? New gasket of some kind? new seals somewhere?

my mr2 spits out black murky water, which looks like oil. If thats any help. If thats all it is then its normal for a cat free car as far as i know.

when it starts?

This,if im right,is just water peoduced from the combustion process condensating on the cold exhaust,the blackness is soot from your exhaust which is just some unburnt fuel and is why the insid eof your exhaust will be black!Hope i helped!
