Hi,

I have a toyota ractis/ verso and developed a problem in the transmission.

It revs and won't work.

The mechanic said it have to be replaced and costs loads of money.

Couldn't it be repaired?

Can any one help me please?

Thank you

Although the first generation Ractis wasn't exported to the EU, the second generation was - as the Verso S.

Is your automatic a Multi Mode Transmission or a CVT?

My ractis was first sold to Japan. We bought it to Malta after worked there for a couple of years.

I think it is a CTV.

Thank you

Anyone got any thoughts that this may be an ECU problem?

I know that can cause "harsh changing" so maybe it is not sending instructions to the transmission.

Just a suggestion and if anyone knows better, fire away

I understand that the CVT box uses a transmission oil.......May be worth checking levels or even changing oil

Wrong forum - you need to post as a new thread in the Verso club - http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/forum/130-toyota-verso/
