i tried threatening it, tried to bribe it, but she is being a bitch, but shes being lik a sour ex wife who wants the best of what i got

1. i cant stand 1d

2. my 600 mile journey i do twice a week is starting to get boring now all i have is some radio ... thati have to retune every 40 odd miles cos of the radio signal range

3. is there a force eject or way of resetting the stereo to make it work

You could try disconnecting the power to reboot it, If that fails then remove it and take it apart gently.

It may just need cleaning and lubricating, again with caution...

The only thing I can think of is to disconnect the Battery, in the hope that when power is restored the stereo will reset and automatically eject the CD.

So I have reset the car (disconnected the Battery for at least 20 mins) and still no joy now it won't even go onto disc mode now so gave up and bought another one second cos a new one from Toyota is a tad on the expensive side (£1036)... Then I will take my delicate instruments to the old one to get my CD out
