Single Beep 20 Seconds After Starting T Sport

Hi all, I have asked this question recently and looked in the manual and on the net and cannot find an answer. There are no lights on the dash just a single beep 30 seconds after starting up. Can anyone help, I'm not worried, the car is running sweet as a nut, I would just like to know.

Hey, Im having near enough the same problem. It started around 7 months after buying the car, and the 30 seconds is not a factor for me, its more when I turn, but it only happens once a day, if that.

The beep is the same as when the traction kicks in, right? mine is anyway.. but I have found that it happens more on cold mornings. It got to the point that I decided to ring up the Toyota head mechanic. The "no light" symptom is the same for me, hence why it got me thinking. Although he hasnt seen it, he says it sounds like the VSC (Vehicle Stability Control), but others call it the traction control apparently. Im still unsure about that with regards to this car as I thought theyre are two separate things..

Anyway, it still happens to me occasionally, but like you say, runs sweet! but hopefully that has lead you in some direction as to what to look at.

I have a single beep after 30 seconds of starting up and I sometimes get a double beep after starting up and turning a corner. When I get a double beep the car feels slightly funny for a split second as if the brakes are being applied.
