Hi all, please can someone help ! My rav4 is still playing up a bit even after the suction control valves have been changed, I've been checking under the bonnet and there seams to be a pipe missing, I will attach pictures, hopefully someone can tell me if there should be a pipe there and if so where is it going 2 ! When the engine is revved there is suction when I place my finger over it so I presume there should be something there ! All advice welcome, thanks !post-104901-0-83260200-1394229232_thumb.post-104901-0-75220000-1394229262_thumb.post-104901-0-85971300-1394229282_thumb.post-104901-0-93233900-1394229296_thumb.post-104901-0-54064500-1394229308_thumb.post-104901-0-68860000-1394229319_thumb.

Looking at your pic's the pipe appears to be the short pipe that goes to the under side of the turbo pressure sensor, see pic attached

Actually correct that it looks like the filter/vent on part 25819 has come off and is missing

Thanks for the replies guys, so it seams like it's just a little filter inside a rubber housing like the one on the left in my pics, I was having problems with the jeep like it was restricting itself and jumping into limp/safe mode and loosing power especially when going to overtake ! I read a lot on this site and others that the main cause was suction control valves, the little red and green ones on the front of the engine block. I change them a few months back and cleaned the egr and every pipe that came off got cleaned, but the problem still exists. Mostly in 3rd gear under load going up hils once it hits around 3000 revs it seams like there's no boost like something is holding her back, if I change to 4th gear and go back into 3rd it frees itself up ! Once I feel it happen I could stick my shoe to the floor and there is nothing she just flatlines, I thought maybe there was a pipe missing but I don't think that little filter being missing would cause her to do this would it ? All suggestions welcome !
