Aygo Indicators Not Working, But Hazards Work Fine

The indicators on my daughters Aygo have totally stopped working, however, the hazard lights operate normally.

The fuse is good and I have now removed the instrument shroud to gain access to the indicator stalk and relays.

Questions:

Where are the indicator relays located, and how do I get to them?

Is the indicator stalk/arm a one piece item incorporating the wiper stalk?

Does the steering wheel have to be removed to replace the indicator/wiper stalk assembly?

Is the indicator stalk/switch a known Toyota problem?

Your help and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The link is for a wiper stalk!!

Does the steering wheel need to come off to remove the stalk?

Quite common fault from what I've read. Here is a link to a YouTube video that covers all you need to know.

That's a different problem, since the outside indicators work the column stalk is OK and the problem is either a connection to the dash or the dash itself.

I would start by checking the connections to the dash.

Do the arrows flash with the hazards on ? The indicator relays are built into the instrument cluster i would think you have a fault on the PCB either the ground or power to the LEDs it rare for both the LEDs to burn out (unless you have changed the standard bulbs for cheap leds)
