Hi all,

I'm fairly certain I have a rear wheel bearing gone, has anyone recently had this done by a garage as just wondering how much it's likely to cost?

Cheers,

Gav

It's an easy job - just under an hour. The bearing comes as a hub assembly that bolts in place - around £100 as an aftermarket part but I'd hate to imagine dealer price!

Cheers my garage has just charged me £360 as they said the ABS sensor needed changing too!?

If the ABS warning light wasn't illuminated when you took the car to the garage, then the sensor was OK - begs the question of why it needed to be changed - it's an expensive part.
