Hey guys! I had a new clutch fitted on my 59 plate aygo on Wednesday and Everytime I got into gear (reverse) it either grinds or it it just won't go in. Is this how it should be with a new clutch or do you think it's faulty?

If you cant get it sorted for your test, try this

Foot on clutch pop it in first then try reverse, it will open the gate and should not crunch but explain why to your examiner why you are doing that.

Take your repair receipt with you to prove the point, if this works for you.

hen take it back as Frosty says...

I have tried that but it still sticks sometimes. It's so so stressful. I've read they sometimes get these problems but it's just the car but it doesn't seem right to me

Just a thought as your test is so soon.

Can you get it back to the garage tomorrow for an adjustment.

Good luck on Monday

I did think of that but it's Sunday and they're shut so I'm going to take my test as it is and then go to the garage afterwards and see what they'll do. I just managed to get it into reverse fine it just seems to be every now and again

I have to wonder if your garage might loan you a car which you can use to take your test

I could use my driving instructors car but I've only drove it twice and it's a lot bigger than mine. My sisters boyfriend just took a look he doesn't think there's anything wrong with the clutch still need to get it checked out afterwards though
