Gear Box Losing Oil

Hi Guys,

I've recently purchased my first MR2 I've had it 4 weeks and knew when we bought it it needed new brakes and it had had a oil leak at some point. It turns out after filling the gearbox oil up and it promptly leaving the contents all over the drive it has a leak?

Is this a common fault? It had a new clutch back in 2012 and the information states the gear box was

split and drained. Could it be something from that?
