Anyone else felt the diffrence in acceleration of new Yaris 1.33 v old 1.33 the old one being quicker.

Could this be due to new E U rules ?

There will probably have been some adjustments to the emissions, although both engines are Euro V

Also unless you've already got a 4 or 5,000 miles under the belt of the 2014 Yaris, the car will not have loosened up, and probably won't be delivering its best as yet in terms of acceleration, fuel consumption, etc.
