Radio Electrical Problems

Anyone had any issues with the factory fitted radio, mines started to blink on and off electrically only for a second then coming back on nothing else is switching off. Happens three times on a half hour journey driving a steady 60

Any ideas what is may be ?

Thinking it may be a bad earth ?.

Standard panasonic radio i assume?

If it is, i'd whip out the radio and checked the front face is attached correctly.

Also, they have had issues with the front face, so maybe a repair workshop could help.

Either that or a good secondhand replacement unit should suffice.

Just be aware that of the type of radio especially if you have steering wheel controls, as there are two type, but look the same.

Also if you have it out and are handy with a soldering iron, remove the bottom cover and touch up the connector pins at the back where the power and Speakers are connected.
