Any idea what the correct idle (tickover) RPM should be on a Auris 2.0 D-4D TR? My Auris is running at 1000rpm which seems to be a bit on the high side?

1000rpm if you're using the heater/climate control and if you're engine isn't fully warmed up.. and ambient temp is between 0 and 10 degrees.

1200rpm if all of above but ambient temp below 0 degrees.

If ambient temp over 10 degrees then normal idle speed.

Thanks, that does make sense. I have only noticed the higher tickover during this recent cold spell.

If ambient temp over 10 degrees then normal idle speed.

Just wondering what the normal idle speed should be with ambient over 10 degrees?

if it's like a 2.2 then 800 when warmed up & no additional demand (ac etc.)
