In Need Of Some Advise.

Hello i am looking to get a 03 - 05 1.8 Toyota Corolla T Sport and i am wondering is there is anything i need to know about these cars as in pros and cons or what bad points of the car that i could look for when viewing them.

Lots of other threads around giving such details.......

1. Check all brake discs, pads, sliding pins (front and rear) and expect to replace all within 6 months unless they have been looked after well.

- expect a brake caliper, or two, to need replacement as well within first year.

2. Check lift actually works.

3. Check both seats work when trying to move them....pins break which is a PITA to repair.

4. Check tyres don't have uneven wear.

5. Expect to service it, especially oil change, asap just so you know it's been done.

A few other niggles but if the car has been looked after then it should be OK. Check all the usual items as well. Any oil leaks, any problems with shocks and springs etc.

Thankyou mate that means a lot! i will keep of these points in mind when going to view one. I did think about getting the compressor edition but i think that normal tsport will suit my needs a little better haha!
