Hi all.

I bought the Avensis 3 month ago.

I have on the clock over 280k already.

Sadly no history what was done to the car.

Because the car is stalling when accelerating i bought the diagnostic toll to have a look into issue.

Anyone with experience could read this for me maybe?

From my logic I assume injector fault or the fuel pump.

Thanks in advance.

Access to technical information can be purchased at: www.toyota-tech.eu

Looking at the diagnostics involved for P0200 its is quite involved and requires a fair bit of technical knowledge and tools

Thanks.

Will look into this later.

Just looked on general manuals and they cost more then parts involved.

Have anyone had the situation with their car when driving and acceleratING, in the torque moment the car start to sort of "swing" like I would drive on empty tank.

of course loosing performance on this point.

funny enough when now it's warm outside ( 12 C) the car is behaving much better.

Then all the sudden, after accelerating it throws engine light on and Stalls.

Restarting the car goes without problem and I can continue driving.

This could be a can of worms

The data is in a short window of time not showing much and i suspect while not during the fault

Initial thoughts

Injectors volumes are on verge of being too apart from each other.

Has someone fitted an injector or two before you got car?

Can they be coded/ matched through your software?

Or at this mileage are they starting to fail and require replacement with a flow matched set

hi again.

Avensis rob:

The data showed on pics is from the moment of the fault. When the p0200 appears And the engine cut out.

my understanding is that it shows the second before in 3 rows and then next second with the fault already.

I'm reading from it drop of pressure on main fuel supply. But this may be cause on injectors side.

Injectors where assigned to the ecu. I have made the reading on it. Phisicaly the first 3 of them showed on freeze frame have visible leaks from the high pressure pipes. I think the last one is still Ok. But I'm already looking for replacing whole set.

Do anyone know is there any special treatment when replacing the injectors?

I have read somewhere to place some copper grease on connection when assembling.

but not sure is this legit.

Thanks in advance.

Hi guys.

Update on topic if anyone follow.

I have replaced the fuel filter recently and cutting out when driving disappeared. Performance is back as well.

The only thing what left to solve now is erratic idle and stalling when waiting on the traffic lights.

Anybody had something similar happening?

Thanks in advance.
