Is It A Problem With The Turbo?

Hi all. Hope somebody can help. I have been experiencing white/blue puffs of smoke from the exhaust of my Toyota Avensis T180 Diesel 57 plate 121,000 miles for a few weeks, I had a look on this forum about it and the suggestion was that it was the DPF regenerating itself. It seemed a bit odd to me that it would want to do this on almost every journey, so decided that maybe the catalytic converter was sooted up, so I put some cat clean in, to see if that would shift it. Unfortunately this didn't do the trick, so today I took it up to my local garage and explained to them what was happening. At first they agreed that it could be the DPF, but since having a further look, they have come up with a possible cause being the turbo and the bearings letting a small amount of oil by, hence the smoke. Anybody got any experience of anything like this, and where could I source a turbo.....oh and roughly how much do these things cost - they sound expensive!!!

Cheers Andy
