Out of interest, how would you wire one of these up?

Would you have to tap into the existing wires as (correct me if im wrong!) the speaker outs are already being used by the o.e Speakers ??

lol!

it cost £90 in total with the amp kit included, but the day b4 i talked to the bloke, and the amp kits he showed me were the standard - £30, and the top class - £50. He said it would cost £60 to fit, and however much the amp kit is.

So they fitted it for me, and used the £50 kit, so somehow it came to £75, plus £15 VAT.

fitting systems on cars they havent done before will take some time as they figure it out (they/me) dont read books, and they charge by the hour

do you mean on the speaker cable, use plyers, do not cut all the way through, move plyers to the right, that will strip the plactics then solder on the new wire and insulate

Give the guy a break

He obviously wanted a pukka job doing, and wasnt too sure how to do it.

Dont blame him, i havent got a clue so i paid someone to do it. Better than thinking, "$hit, dont know what im doing here - car may end up in a burning heap"
