Brake Pipes Front To Back.

Just had an MOT failure. Excessive corrosion on front to back brake pipes. Can anyone tell me if they are easy enough for a competent DIY mech to detach? I don't have a ramp to lift it and will be doing it on stands.

I think stands should be fine for access.

I've done this on various Toyota models (but not the later Avensis). I would advise ramps for the front and jack stands for the rear. When you're wrestling a snake you need plenty of clearance. If you're getting them made up for you work rear to front. That way any potential excess length can be lost within the engine bay where there's a bit more space.
