For 3K on an MR2,

HKS 2.2 stroker kit?

Big turbo and internals upgrade?

Cooling!

N2O?

Personally, I would go the big turbo and internals route, and if there was any cash left over, get a Wizards of NOS progressive system installed. - And something to keep it all cool, water injection etc..

Remember, whatever you pay in bits, costs £££ to be fitted, tested, tuned.

are you really going to be able to drive an mr2 with 360-400bhp in this climate?

economy will be so dreadful you may as well have the supra anyway!

I'd look at a 4wd vehicle like an evo instead jim... at least then you can put the power down in the damp/wet/rain.. :)

Insurance is the bugger tho.

Decisions, decisions.

yes jim, i think that supra qualifies as a suitable ***** extension!

the question is though, do you want the car to handle and slap all power down in the horrible british weather?

If the answer is yes, then it has to be an evo! :D

of course, rather than getting the evo, with its puny 2000cc's, if your looking at 4WD, just get a Skyline...

the supra is too obvious as a posers car!

the evo will make you predator of the road... especially with the kind of money you'll throw at it! :P :D

but the evo isnt as good looking as a supra...

At the end of the day, an evo is a Lancer covered in stick-on parts...

go for the hybrid and a carbon bonnet, set of TRD roll bars and powerflex urethane bushes all round, they will make your car have that nice 'new, tight' feel.

dont get a supra!!

god no!!

Big boats, they need 500+bhp to make em start shiftin!

Get a 4wd car if ur gonna change, although evo`s are expensive, ur lookin at 13k+ for an evo 5.

Hows about a scooby?, get the veilside kit on it?, rare as rockin horse !Removed!.

paint it mate, you need it to stand out more if you want a mag feature.

hard to beat the kandy paint mate - everywhere i go in my little PIMP machine, it just gets looked at.... low, chrome 18's, and gorgeous kandy orange paintwork.... not bad for a '91 G-ltd T-Bar, that stands me 5k to buy it, modify it, paint it, and fit out the interior...

i'll be looking to sell it come the end of the summer for either a supra, or an RX-7.... i've already been offered 5k for it, so we'll see!

If you do carry out any major engine mods, check with the insurance company first. It would be awful to spend all of that money only to find noone will insure you!

I like midmotorsteves suggestion so far... like your thinking.

I'll have to check with insurance companys before anywork goes ahead of course.

Good Idea, I wouldn't normally say, but the trouble I've had today is unbelievable and that's on an almost stock car!

Adrian Flux will prob insure me no matter what... just depends if I want to pay the hefty premium.
