Servicing Costs

Was quoted £400+ by the Toyota dealer for a "Full" service, 2nd yearly service and the car has done 14,000mls in two years from new. Had a look at the official Toyota pricing and that was published at £299 plus any extras such as pollen filter, brake fluid change, gearbox & LSD oil for the axle. Must be the usual "up selling" before they have even checked out the car to see what's needed. At those prices, its more than what I paid for 3 services on a IS300h Lexus ???. O.K. who's got the Vaseline!!

Although the majority do, not every dealer offers the Fixed Price Servicing scheme.

Have you checked what service elements the dealer has quoted for?

This will be Western?

I don't know why they do it (as it makes them look dear) but they always quote incl. the extras even when they may not be needed.

Oh well, that's the service done, but they didn't have replacement window channels to replace the rusting ones, couldn't check and see where the AC gas had gone as they didn't have the proper connectors for a GT86. Just glad that they aren't doctors, they'd have people dying left right and centre..
