Okay, so i got a 1.0 yaris, and love it, but already want to upgrade. Thinkin of a T-Sport, Anyone give me some prices for insurance quotes they have had?

I'm 22, Have a clean driving licence for almost 5 years, but no no-claims due to being a listed drived. Currently paying approx £400 fully comp for my 1.0 yaris (group 2)..

So whats the insurance like on the T-Sport (Group 7)??

Cheers!

Tesco are just a rebranded direct line.... And they are pretty hostile when it comes to mods I've heard.

No complaints about elephant. Great customer service and I even persuaded my dad and my boss to join em!

They got their insurance cheaper...

yeah, they are directline. Example the same with Vauxhall Insurance.

I phoned them up a couple of weeks ago about an induction kit, TTE side skirts and a larger exhaust. They where happy with it, and said it would cost around £50 extra

cant moan

elephant

all mods declaired

3 yrs ncb

10 month accelerator

excess 250

'approx' 700 quid (goes up and down all year due to the changes i make!)

also if you pay in one whack instead of monthly, elephant are the only policy i have ever seen where they will credit you money back if you remove a mod!

normally they tell you to knackers and leave it higher!

I'm with Adrian Flux for my Honda but I checked with them last week for the soon-to-be-delivered T-Sport with all mods ( ) declared and it's gonna be the same at ~£680 fully comp with no claims protection and legal cover.

Age: 29

NCB: 7 years

Excess: £300

Last year nobody could come close to Adrian Flux's renewal quote.

Confused as to why they charged me £688 for a 1.0 Yaris even though I am the same age as you and have held my licence for nearly 5 years!

Same goes for dannyb999, I am pretty much the same as you but your getting it £300 cheaper :crybaby:

You also have to take into consideration where you live as different areas have different levels of risk for the insurance companies.

Age 29

Yaris TS - No Mods - Imported. (2002)

7 Yrs No claims ...which is cack....as I've been driving since 17 with no claim..trouble is...was on parents insurance...so it doesn't count :censor:

No claims Protection.... a very wise idea..and very cheap.

£150 Excess.

Full legal cover

Free Courtesy Car.

Parked at home in Private Courtyard.

Parked at work in Secure compound...with gates...and a moat...no kidding..but they didn't have a moat option...:-)

12,000 Miles a year.

Premium £320

Halifax Insurance.

Elephant insurance wouldn't even give me a quote!

Direct line was over £400 for like for like cover.

AA not much difference.

My insurance would be similar to yours Viper if I could leave my car alone! I did also have a smash about 5 years ago, my fault but I didn't claim my insurance and it hasn't affected my premium much - never buy a Micra - I had Mk3 Golf GTI at the time and I turned into the path of the Micra... Front n/s corner of the Golf crumpled (£1200 damage) but the Micra was written off!

Yeh, I'm 24 with 4 years no claims and a 1.3 SR. With Tesco I'm paying about £400 3rd party, and when I was thinking about getting an Apexi induction system they wanted about £80-100 extra so I didn't bother.
