G2 - Build-up Of Debris In Radiator

The lower section of my radiator is totally blocked with debris - where the airflow comes in through the low bumper grille.

I tried cleaning it but it's a solid mass of flies etc, and all I succeeded in doing was breaking off loads of those fragile aluminium fins.

Anyone else had this issue?
I'll mention to Toyota on its next service but I'm anticipating total apathy!

With all due respect what do you think Toyota will / can do?

I'd try some bug remover spray in there, and a soft brush with low pressure water to see if that frees any of it up.

An old joke springs to mind, when using a Q-tip you should stop pushing when you meet resistances. (By the way, please don't use a Q-tip/cotton bud to clean your ears).

The lower half of the radiator on the 2nd Gen Prius is used to cool the Inverter. Can't say I can recall a post of a failed Inverter attributed to a blocked radiator, so I am guessing they work well enough even when some of it is blocked.
