Radiator Blocking

Come on, guy and girls. On the 2015 face-lift Auris HSd which grill can be blocked for better cold weather mpg. It's the one not feeding the inverter? (Top or bottom?) It works, well it should. My old Prius gained at least 3 mpg

If you were talking about an old BMC mini or 1100 I,d say put in a winter rad thermostat and block half the rad, but

a 2015 Toyota, leave well alone

You could maybe block half the grill at the front but not half the rad, not easily anyway. The radiator on these cars wasn't mounted behind the grill but at the side of the engine bay. Matter of fact they had "pusher" fans which pushed the air through the radiator into the wheel well.
