Towbar.

I'm looking to fit a towbar to my 2011 RAV4 after a bit off looking I've found this http://www.pfjones.co.uk/toyota-rav-4-2006-onwards-flange-pf-jones-towbar.html

I'm only looking to fit a bike rack to it with at most 2bikes..

Is the wiring east to get to in the rear of the car and do I need to remove the rear bumper. If I do need to remove it is the a guild on how to get it off any were.

These people fitted mine whilst I was there. They did remove the bumper which becomes very floppy when being moved and took 2 off them to manoeuvre it off. They also removed the rear cross member at the back of the bumper which is replaced by the tow bracket.

I don't think you can just break into the cables for the wiring, you need a bypass unit but I don't know about these.

Have a look on www.toyota-tech.eu. Go to owner,accessory installation manuals and put the car details in. The towbar and electrics should be there (they are for mine).
