Hi , My 12v lighter socket ( power outlet ) has stopped working , probably a blown fuse. Ive looked in the manual as to where the fuse is and it says in the drivers side instrument panel however I can not find it anywhere , I have went to Halfords and 3 of there lads haven't been able to find it either , can anyone shed any light to where it is>

On the driver's side, way down the dashboard there is a small cover. Remove the cover then look deep down, the fuse box is there. You will not see it by just ordinary looking.:band:

On your Aygo as the manual says the the fuses are under the speedo cowling behind the speedo to access you need to remove the upper speedo cowling by turning the steering wheel 1/2 a turn and removing the screw expose below the speedo then repeat in the other direction, the link shows instructions for fitting a rev counter which requires the same cowling to be removed : http://www.toyota-tech.eu/aimuploads/0830ef25-2202-43e8-b820-4127ec03a0c3/791L_Tachometer.pdf and page 282 onwards here also shows the location https://myportalcontent.toyota-europe.com/Manuals/Toyota/AYGO_WE.pdf

I had trouble seeing my internal fuse box easily, and the box didn't quite look like it did in the manual.

Ditto

No-one seems to be able to give a straight answer as to where the fuse box is and how to get access to it. . . . .
