1994 Caldina/Carina 3S-FE no spark

Hi guys, I live in New Zealand where I believe the Carina is called a Caldina.

Chassis number St-191 with 3s-fe engine.

I parked it up this morning and everything was running perfectly, but upon trying to start it there is now no spark (tested a good spark plug by grounding on head). There is fuel, the inside of distributor cap was clean and dry, and rotor was turning as it should.

Any suggestions where I should start?
