Carina II Suspension Advice

So I purchased my Carina 2 at the start of march, and am enjoying it so far!

My question is, that the shocks have gone, and I can't justify paying £80 a corner on shocks from Euro's!

Does the carina 2 share the same parts with any other cars withing Toyota's range at all?

Many Thanks, Mike

When I replaced the front shocks on my Carina Mk2 I found that you could buy shocks that fitted inside the suspension struts

We used to have one of those, the same colour and with the rear spoiler.

Yes... They are 'inserts' from the factory. Mick's Garage, Ireland, got me a full set of 2x F (insert) 2x R (complete strut) + 4 drop links for ARB + ARB rubbers. They got them into stock in around 4 days!! About £270 the lot

I don't suppose Mick's Garage in Ireland would have the right rear quarter glass for my Hatchback ?

Ask 'em. They seem very well connected [my local factor couldn't find any Sussie parts for me, using their own 'contacts'!]

The glass will likely be somewhere but, I believe, as it is fragile/heavy it doesn't get dragged to many bootsales.

Have you searched the Factory P.No? Tried the model breakers in US?

Keep looking......
