Oil filter

Hi,

What type of oil filter is on the 1.6 valvematic2011 please.

It's a paper filter, unfortunately on the valvematic, this filter is now situated horizontally as opposed to the earlier vvti engines, you will need a filter spanner to remove it, apart from that the engine is a cracker.

I did get the oil filter from them too. Here are a couple of videos 

Even though these are different cars the engines and the technique are the same. The Avensis has a trap door in the under shield to access the oil sump plug and filter, like the Prius video. The Auris may be similar

The hard bit is buying the stuff.
