Is there any information as to how much this is going to cost? The sister wants to upgrade her Yaris to this as she's due for an upgrade, but doesn't want to commit to this if it's going to be expensive.

Available to pre-order in the Autumn and goes on sale January 2017.

Would imagine the starting price would be above the Auris, and between the Juke (starting price £14k) and Qashqai  (starting price £18.5k).

Depends what one defines as expensive - certainly larger than the Yaris and won't be a direct replacement for the Urban Cruiser.
