Anybody Know Anything About the Carb on a 4A-F Engine

I need to know where the idle, and mixture screws are.

They have carbs for sale on eBay with photos that show the adjustment screws see attached pic.

Hi, Thanks for that.

 

I found the mixture screw, but its anti-tamper on mine :( 

 

The good news is, a tired ignition system was causing all kind of problems and since sorting this it is running much better :)

Hi.

When I hoof my 4A-f I get a 'shunt/deadspot/cough..Whoosh!'.

There is comment that a dead/cough on pedal down can be Ign/Exciter going duff.

Is there a plan A. or B. test to prove a fault either way?? HBOL describes 'gap set/meter test' on Ign module. Sounds a faff... :mellow:
