Which Landcruiser to get ?

Hello there,

I'm looking to purchase a Landcruiser vx but I'm not sure which year to go for & thought someone on here might be able to help.

I've got £10k to play with. I'd rather spend less if I can though. I really like the Amazon model but not so keen on the Colarado, but I'm open to advice.

It must be diesel & able to tow reasonably heavy plant machinery & do a bit of off roading. I like the look even better with a lift kit on.

Big NO NO on air suspension. ( I've had a P38 !! Never again....... Ha Ha ! )

Anyways, I really want to know what year to go for ? What's the most reliable engine model as I've noticed different engine numbers ? How easy are parts to get hold of with some of them being 20 years old or more ? Any pointers to look out for when going to view 1 ? I've already had a bit of a look on eBay & seen a few nice ones but I'm doing more research before I part with my cash.
