Hello, I have searched quite a while for this answer does the old pre d4d diesel engine the 2C-TE have an interference or non interference engine? Thanks in advance if anyone knows.

The 2T-CE diesel is an interference engine. I think as a general rule, diesels tend to be interference due to the way they run - high compression and valves closing early and no overlap.
