Tailgate window going up stopping going down

Hey guys, having a bit of trouble with my 93 surf just with the back tailgate window now it goes up fine but when I go to put it down it stops so I have to push the window down for it to work has been bugging me abit just wondering who has a clue how to fix it and what is wrong.

Does the window, shall we say, tip at all as it moves. Might be worth removing the tailgate door card and see if the runners are still secure. There is a part that slides within a channel attached to the bottom of the glass. May be that it needs a little lubrication
