Super Custom Hiace 3.0D 1997 alternator fan belts

Hello, Is anyone able to advise me please? I have a lovely 1997 lwb Super Custom 3.0d camper, import. Sadly, both the fan belt and alternator belt have come adrift (in a very messy way), fortunately I don't think there's any engine damage :) However - some ambiguity in the advice from Toyota mechanic and dealer from whence it came as to the replacement parts. I have been told: Same engine as Toyota Hilux 1997 so look for these belts. I have been told: Need the model number (this isn't on the reg. doc.) Can anyone give me sound advice on which engine I have for the sake of parts, how I can find the model number and which belts I need please? (The belts that came off have MItsubushi V98DLA390 and Mitsubishi V98DLA450 stamped on them and a Google search got me nowhere)
