I have had my Proace Long for a few weeks now, replacing a 2014 Transporter LWB.

It is very comfortable and quiet compared to the VW.  My only complaint is with the sat nav system. .Toyota have not released the software to connect the unit for live traffic and speed cameras.   Some of the navigation instructions on the HUD are just bizarre but the display on the head unit is accurate.  It was supposed to come with ten years of connected services.....  And register the van on MyToyota while you are at the dealership - you need the version type from the registration document and this is different to the one Toyota have on their database.

Very happy with it so far. The van cost the same as three years of depreciation on the Transporter.

Given that it is a Citroen Despatch/Peugeot Expert in disguise it may well not be Toyota but PSA (or indeed the oem manufacturer). On the Aygo/C1/107 I believe that PSA were responsible for the ICE which is a Pioneer rather than the Harman units that Toyota seem to prefer. Do you know who makes the unit in the Proace?

No idea who makes the unit, but mapping is via Tom Tom.

Got it working with the help of the Peugeot forums.  Toyota have to enable the connection at their end and the  there is all manner of messing around to set the head unit up.

Do you know what the engine code is as there are 2 different 1.6 diesels

The 2.0 are PSA, The 1.6 are Ford DLD-416 90 or 115 bhp

Hello

We bought. 2016 1.6l proace medium panel van two years ago and absolutely loved it!

We want to start bit by bit conversion into a campervan. How easy is it to remove the bulkhead? Looks like it's just bolted on?

Also does anyone know if drivers seat has brackets to swap seat belt to opposing side (thinking of removing the bench seat , buying second-hand driver's seat to use as solo swivel passenger seat)

Any advice welcome

Bulkhead will be easy enough, there are lots of options out there for those vans as they are a joint venture Peugeot/Citroen etc, I would imagine lots of opportunities as they get converted regularly. Not sure about your seat brackets, speak to a specialist convertor of those models
