A/C not working

Hi i have a left hand drive 2009 IQ-3 1.13cc

The a/c has stopped working. It isthe climate control type with the big dial on the control panel.

I have checked the gas all is ok. There is the usual 5volt feed to the switch in the engine bay.

The clutch is not engaging on the compressor. So i had the car plugged in and the following faults came up -

P1604 stability malfunction - code was cleared. 

air flow sensor circuit - fault code cleared

has anyone got any other ideas before i remove and replace the a/c compressor?

I have same problem and am looking for any info on replacing the sensor only and not the whole compressor
