metallic gurgle under acceleration.

Hi Guys,

Hopefully just a 'what it does' kinda thing.

Under load, say motorway, 6th gear 65mph, put your foot down (not necessarily hard) to accelerate and there is a slight audible gurgle kind of sound while the car is under load. It's coming from under the bonnet. I assume it's what this engine sounds like when under load, but I've never heard it before on any of the other 3 diesel cars I've had. I thought it could be the belt slipping, but they normally slip under load off the lights etc, and settle down once the engine is cruising. Also belts screech, but this is a gurgle sound.  Only had the car on the road 2 days so far, so all new to me.

Any ideas?
