Swapping out the standard front seats

Has anyone changed their front seats for something else?

Sparco or even seats from a different car?

Curious I’d you came across any issues with the subframe, movement, or sizes.

May be an issue with the seat mounted airbags of the current seats, and whether there will be a detrimental effect on the safety restraint system (ie. ending up with no side airbags). Also the subsequent effect on your insurance.

Yeah I decided to put some MR2 Roadster seats in. They don't have the side airbags in though.

Very easy to fit and a more comfortable driving position.

No, install resistors to get rid of the light coming on.

Hi Mk1,  need pick a brain, do you use the mr2 or the iq seat brackets to fit? What resistor needed to the side airbag plugs? Thanks
