I recently bought my 2013 RAV4 2.2 ICON. 

It does not have Sat Nav installed but the dash controls show a selector switch fitted.

Is it possible to have a system up grade to include SatNav

One would need to buy the separate sat nav module that fits onto the multimedia unit. For example if you have Toyota Touch, one can buy the 'Go' sat nav module.

Not a case of simply upgrading the software.
