Indicators stopped working suddenly

Hi all, yesterday my indicators stopped working. Just totally gone, no lights inside or out, no tic tac tic tac sound. There was no incident to cause this, no sparks or a prang or anything. My hazards work fine, if that's relevant at all.

I wonder if it might be something as simple as a fuse? Would like to check the easy stuff before handing it over to a garage with expense before Christmas.

So, could I ask for some advice on how to approach this problem? What should I do?

many thanks in advance!

Dave

Usually the hazards are on a different fuse/circuit, since they work with the ignition off, but the indicators don't.  Check the fuses first, then the relay.

Hi Alan, thanks yes I'll do that. Here come the amateur questions

So...where might I find the fuses and the relay? And how do I check they're working?

This fuse box is behind the glovebox.

Check the 7.5A Gauge 2 fuse.

You, Sir, are the man!

That was exactly the problem - the fuse was visibly blown, check out the pic. Popped to Halfords and bought some replacement 7.5A and job done. Maybe there's another problem that caused the fuse to go, but for now my indicators are back on.

Thanks for all your help! Really appreciate it.
