I’m looking into swapping the engine out of my 2011 yaris SR 1.3 and putting in the 1.8 engine from a 2008 yaris SR has anyone done this or have any information on it??

Can you design a new electronics system and interface the correct ECU with the engine?

If no, then don't bother...

Change the brakes? and gearbox?

And your insurance company will want an engineer's report
