Check engine light after dead battery...

My 2007 auris Battery all but died due to me leaving an interior light on. Lights came on but could not turn over. I chucked it on a ctec charger and it now starts and idles fine but ‘check engine’ light is on. Assume this is caused by the des Battery and I need a dealer to clear the code?

Sometimes it takes a day or two of driving to clear the code.  It's pretty common issue. If you want to be safe, you can have the codes checked/removed.
