Part Replacement

Hello, i have a bad MAP sensor on my Corolla 97 2.0D 2C-E and cant find proper replacement, i've tryed everything possible in my country and couldn't find anything.

The part number is 89420-12110, if anyone can find a replacement i'll be very grateful.

Assume your local Toyota dealer cannot help ?

If he does not see your post , you could PM " Mickburkesn" who has the same model as yours and has sourced many parts for his rebuild, so might know about that MAP sensor.

Only thing I can suggest is, if you've gone to your Toyota dealer in your own country and they haven't been able to help, you could try either popping across the border to the next country and see what they say, or start hunting around scrap yards for one.

There are several people in Ireland who are breaking Corolla's who will definitely be able to get you a part if you message them on the Corolla IRL Facebook group.

You could also try Onlinecarparts.co.uk and see if they carry that sensor. I haven't needed to get one specifically but have managed to get most parts for my Corolla through either that website or Toyota directly.
