CVT transmission

Hi to all, I have owned an Estima Hybrid 2003 plate for 18 months. A very nice car, sadly a few days ago whilst driving at about 40 km/h the car started to behave as if the clutch was slipping. This happened twice within a few metres then all good. Next day I checked the transmission fluid which was a bit low. I took the car to my Toyota Specialist who looks after my car, he changed the fluid plus an oil & filter change on engine, after he did this he said that warning lights came on & would not turn off after he rest the ECU. The codes say that the High Voltage Inverter is faulty & that it has caused the hybrid system to shut down.

When the system is reset no warning lights are on but as soon as I put the car in Reverse or Drive the Hybrid System Fail, VCS, 4WD & ABS lights come on the the car drives on petrol only when this happens but with low power as if clutch slipping on a manual.

I need advice as to what I need to replace, do I need High Voltage Inverter or a CVT Transmission or is it something else?

Hope he followed the correct procedure when changing the transmission oil. Do a search for Toyota CVT oil change and you'll find quite a few threads on it.
