Hi Guys. I have changed my diesel filter today on my 2011 RAV4 2.2 d4d.  After I refitted my new one connected everything back up and primed it. Car took longer to start than normal ( not a big thing). But now I have my engine light on as well as traction control light.

Car drives fine, I have checked everything pipes and plugs both fine and no leakes.

What did I do wrong. ??

Er, you bought a diesel?

Seriously, it may just be a transient fault which arose when you were struggling to get it started.  Clear the fault and see if it comes back before opening your wallet to the dealer.  If you don't have a diagnostic checker, consider one of these.  It's what the dealers use.
