Privacy glass on Tourer TR. How much light is let through?

My friend avensisd4d768 has finally got a replacement Avensis, this time a 2011 Tourer TR 2 litre diesel in black, with nav pack. He has one issue - the factory privacy glass. 

He needs to know how dark in percentage, is the tint. He will be using it as a taxi, and the rules are the tint must allow 70% light, for passenger safety. I have seen photos of the car, and the tint does look dark.

    Side view look totally blacked out

From the 3/4 view you can see through the rear door windows, but the tailgate glass still looks blacked out due to the light reflection.
I am asking as my car has clear glass, and he lives 250 miles from me. One option is to swap out the glass, if the tint is too dark. He would do it with somebody close to his location. Or get glass from salvage yard.

One thing to bear in mind is that a lot of privacy glass nowadays is film - even factory fit.

having had a 2012 with factory tint & then getting a 2017 Business Edition tinted my guess would be that the factory is probably ~20% vlt. If you need the exact figure you probably need to contact Toyota GB customer services.

If it’s for use as an Irish taxi , if the tinted side window (excluding quarter panel) have a V stamped on it it won’t pass the test, both the rear door glass panels (each side) need to be replaced , mine cost €220 in main dealer just over two years ago. Pic not of avensis but shows the position of the V

I think they are going to be too dark have not had them checked yet.

as Konrad said I would offering this glass as swaps for clear, Please contact if anyone is interested.
