Red Triangle

Yesterday I had a new Hybrid Battery fitted to my 2008 Prius to get rid of the Red Triangle and orange VSC/Braking System Fault lights. I travelled about 20 miles home from the Hybrid Specialist Centre and just as I turned into my gate all three lights came on again complete with a loud click from the engine compartment. Today I returned it the the centre with just the Red Triangle showing and everything seams to be functioning correctly.

My question is does anyone know what the problem might be?

Surely you'd take it back to the hybrid specialist centre?

Is that 'Hybrid Specialist Centre' at an official Toyota dealer?

Its up to them to sort it out, if there is a warning light its obviously not ok.

Hello , I have the same issue with those warning lights and according to AA there are no immediate faults within the car itself after he had plugged in his diagnostic tool.  My issue was when I unplugged the parking switch to get to the stereo is when I got these annoying lights.  I unplugged it so that I can remove the covering to install a new aftermarket stereo.

I have also noticed my start up Battery can run low but charges right to the top except one bar.  I am told that it produces 14.4v and other days 12.4v.  I am still tempted to change it as it is 5 years old.

I think the centre should erase those errors or a Toyota dealer.  Any hybrid specialist do have the tools to perform those fixes.
