2005 brake pads question

I decided to change my brake pads and discs yesterday on my 2005 XT5  After taking everything off and cleaning the caliper I realised I couldn’t remember where the little brake fitting clips go. Does anyone have a diagram of where they go? I can’t find no info anywhere.

Do you mean the clips that,  depending on how they lay if you put them down, do they look like a " R" ?

Thanks Del there’s 8 all together they fit on the caliper where the pads go. I just can’t remember which ones were at the top and which were at the bottom I’m referring to the ones in the 3rd box in the photo.

Thanks
